Bohemia, officially the Republic of Bohemia, also known as the Prehevil Voivodeship, is a province of the Federal Democracy of Solstice, founded in May 2023. The capital city of Bohemia is Prehevil and the republic is a dictatorship lead by Lilly and Sasha. To the west it borders Fegal and to the south and east the Solstan province Sleebieville. A small border is also shared with the Solstan province Dozhda.

Bohemia's Solstan highway letter is B and the province codes are BH and BOH.

History

Bohemia was founded on 24.05.2023 by Lilly and Sasha. It started out with the city of Prehevil which is the name the Republic initially carried. It went through several names such as "Province of Prehevil", "Prehevilian Voivodeship" and "Prehevilian Bohemia" until "Republic of Bohemia" was officially settled on. Initially only focusing on Prehevil, the Republic's efforts focused on a Solstan highway connection that had to pass through Bohemia and specifically created the city of Soutok (formerly and temporarily referred to as Junction). Soutok was meant to serve as a transportation hub in Bohemia as the Bohemian government has always opposed the construction of roads through most parts of Bohemia.

Geopolitically, Bohemia was involved in several incidents, especially those involving Solstice and its neighbor Fegal. Threats to attack Fegal with nuclear weaponry have been made in the past.

Cities and places

Bohemia contains numerous cities and places, some of which have their own article.

Prehevil (capital city)

Prehevil is a coastal town and the capital of Bohemia. It features several significant buildings and locations, such as the Bohemian parliament, the first Gaburger, the PRHVL Bop and many other places in the island part of Prehevil. Mainland Prehevil is slowly being developed and features larger and more classical buildings than the island part. In the south of Prehevil lies its and Bohemias main railway junction serving Bohemian regional trains (RE1), the yellow and blue metro lines as well as SQTR.

Soutok

Soutok is a semi-industrial port city in southern Bohemia. It is still very empty but a student housing complex and a port are being developed.

Obtok

Obtok is empty right now. It only has a train station connecting it to Soutok at the moment.

Elektrárna

Elektrárna is an industrial city in western Bohemia featuring the Elekrárna Nuclear Powerplant and PetroBud s.r.c. factories.

Vištuk

Vištuk is a small coastal fisher's village in north eastern Bohemia. It is home to the renown Wischteicher cidres and beers as well as Bohemia's first airport, the Vištuk Seaplane Base (VKS). BohemAir currently operates a route from and to Firefly Airport from VKS.

Government and Law

The main law text in Bohemia is the New Bohemian Basic Law (NBBL) which currently spans 14 articles and counting. The government is defined as a dictatorship with Bohemian citizens and sometimes Solstan ones as well being able to vote and propose laws, such as NBBL Article 4 (Nature and environment) Section 3: "From henceforth all rivers shall be named Avon. We will not elaborate.".

The New Bohemian Basic Law ends with the "First Constitution of the Republic of Bohemia (FCRB)" as an addendum. Other law texts in Bohemia are the 5 articles of the Basic Law (BL), the Transport and Road Law (TL), the Section on Air Traffic Regulations by the Bureau of Air Traffic and Regulations (BATR) and several other texts.

Authorities, organizations and companies

Bohemia has several provincial authorities as well as government organizations. These include the Government of Bohemia and Prehevil, the Board of Nuclear Technology in Bohemia, the state railway operator Bohémské dráhy and for law enforcement both the Bohemian Gendarmerie as well as the Maritime Authorities of Bohemia. In Prehevil, the main law enforcement agency is the Prehevil Metropolitan Police and a small local government exists as well.
