The Solstice Metro System is a double-track underground train system in Solstice with some developments in Bohemia, formerly owned by the federal Ministry of Transportation. A former section of the Solstice Metro System in Firefly is now part of the upcoming Firefly-Szki metro, and the rest of the system is owned by Bohemia. The federal Ministry of Transportation instead prefers the usage of the AirCS and the SQTR.

Passengers press a button to call for a train which promptly arrives within 10 seconds. Trains of the Solstice Metro do not stop, but slow down enough at stations for passengers to be able to exit. Minecarts leaving stations without passengers are incinerated, preventing clutter.

Similar projects in Solstice include the Szki Lanes Tram Network and Bohemian Regional Trains.

Currently, there are several functioning stations. Those in Firefly being Central Firefly and East Firefly, and in Prehevil being Prehevil East, Parrot Street and Prehevil South/Main.

Defederalization

The Solstice Metro System is completely domestic, and thus ineligible to be a part of the AirCS Race. Additionally, as of June 2024, there were ongoing plans to convert the Firefly section to an urban metro system. Due to this, the Solstan government decided to defederalize the system, which was largely undeveloped at that point, and use the AirCS and the SQTR to replace it in its role in Solstice. Ownership of the system was transferred to Firefly-Szki Transportation, which in turn transferred ownership of the Bohemian section to Bohemia.

Current Lines, Stations and Plans

Bohemian Railway Plan as of July 2024

With the only remaining station being in Prehevil under the authority of Bohémské dráhy. In Bohemia, the plans to expand and use the Solstice Metro System in addition to Bohemian Regional Trains and AirCS continue to exist.

Yellow Line

The Yellow Line connects Prehevil's inner and outer city.

  1. Prehevil East
  2. Parrot Street, Prehevil
  3. Prehevil South/Main

Blue Line

The Blue Line is planned to start at Prehevil Main and head west towards Elektrárna, Western Bohemia, with several stops along the way. Considerations of it heading east to Sleebieville also exist.

Red Line

The Red Line is planned to run within the city of Soutok. It might possibly connect from Soutok's airport to Prehevil as well.

  1. Soutok Central
  2. Letiště (Soutok Airport)
