Solstice, officially the Federal Democracy of Solstice, is a semi-direct democratic republic that was founded in September 2022. Solstice is bordered by Fegal to the west, TAY to the north, and the Union of Soviet Sovereign Republics in the east. The nation's capital is the city-province Firefly, which houses all federal government infrastructure.

The Federal Democracy of Solstice consists of four provinces:
Provinces have a lot of freedom in regards to policies and laws as the Federal Democracy of Solstice is a non-restrictive federation.
The Federal Democracy of Solstice also contains two territories: (help idk how to wiki but they are the Inkydink Territories and the Southern Territory.
Government and politics
There are supposed to be six heads of state in the Federal Democracy of Solstice, two for the legislative, two for the executive, and two for the judicial branch. However, there are currently three because the population of Solstice is low. Ashe and Raina have split the Executive and Legislative branches together, while Sasha is the Head of the Judicial Branch.
All federal laws are voted on by referendum. Each law is voted on by each citizen throughout the nation in the voting hall. However, the federal government does send ballots out to all citizens who could not make it to the voting hall, allowing for citizens across the nation to vote without travelling to Firefly.
Transportation and infrastructure
As of June 2023, Solstice has little federal transportation but several highways and the "Solstice Metro System" are planned.
AirCS
There is an AirCS station in Firefly that connects to Katyusha and Midcity.
Airports
The only airport in Solstice is the FireFly Airport located in Firefly. It is currently being renovated.
ClyRail
There is a ClyRail station in Firefly that is connected to Midcity and TheFerretSettlement. It is referred to as "Athena" on the ClyRail network map.
Highways
Solstice uses a letter followed by a number to designate highways (examples: S1, B32, F7). The letter shows what province/government is responsible for the highway.

Highway signs in Bohemia and some parts of Solstice are colour coded as well. All federal highway (S-highway) signs are blue, while provincial ones are either green or orange.

History
When the nation was first founded, it was a unitary semi-direct democratic republic named the Democracy of Athena, later becoming the Social Democracy of Athena to mark a change to socialism. Upon referendum for the Constitutional Convention, the former Social Democracy of Athena became the Federal Democracy of Solstice on 19 April 2023.
