FireFly Airport
The FireFly Airport is the only airport in Solstice. It's located in east Firefly right by the border with the USSR.
Iterations
The airport went through several redesigns and is currently being redone a third time.
The first FireFly Airport
The first version had three curved runways and no taxiways or gates, so it was practically useless. It was decorated with a "u suck tharg" sign.
The second FireFly Airport
The second version was built further north and featured a single runway running west-east, two helipads and one airport building. There wasn't really anything there.
Renovation of the second FireFly Airport
The FireFly Airport is currently being renovated. It's planned features are 8 gates, a separate departure and arrival terminal, underground parking, restaurants and cafes, an ATC tower, hangars, a taxiway, luggage check-in and two security checkpoint. The airport also features a double-tracked rail system connecting the gates for faster movement within the airport. Both terminals are connected by a bridge and a tunnel.
