Legal District is a territory controlled by the server administration. It serves as the administrative and judicial capital of the world. It is bordered by Auckland to the north, the Kemonomimi Republic to the west, and Whale City to the east.
History
bits & Bytes Vanilla 1.0
Legal District was founded by The Pixel Polygon in the original version of bits & Bytes Vanilla during a period in which former residents of the Bits & Bytes Bed & Breakfast began to spread out throughout the land. Initially, a jail was built on empty land and was linked to the Essentials plugin jail system. Over time, new buildings would be constructed in this area. At the time, The Pixel Polygon had already created and owned a house just outside the Bits & Bytes Bed & Breakfast, and this was eventually moved to its present Legal District site. Shortly afterwards, the Supreme Court of Legal District was established, and the territory gained Whale Motorway System and AirCS connections.
orbis. & UniCity
During the server's time as orbis., it had been codified that no structure, including transportation tracks and roads, were allowed within Legal District's boundaries without authorization from The Pixel Polygon. Also around this time, a proper building for administrative functions was deemed necessary by the server administration. It was for this reason that the orbis. HQ was built just a few blocks from the Supreme Court. It housed various offices for the server administrators, and an archive of patents, among other things. When orbis. shut down, and the server migrated as UniCity Legacy, a new UniCity headquarters was built in its place. Though UniCity is dissolved, the building still remains.
Present Day
When control of bits & Bytes Vanilla returned to the bits & Bytes server, Legal District retained its restrictions and layout. It had also started to become used as a site for diplomatic negotiation. In response to the lack of a formal building for this purpose, a building called the International Meeting Centre was announced. Construction for this building continues to this day.

Building Restrictions
Creating any structure, including, but not limited to, buildings, transportation structures and cellular towers is heavily restricted. None of these items may be built within Legal District's boundaries without express permission from The Pixel Polygon.
