Freeway 20 is a major east-west Open Highway Network freeway. Its western terminus is in Victor's Interesting City, and its eastern terminus is at A3, where it continues towards Whale City. The freeway is one of the oldest in the OHN and one of the last major projects completed on the original 2018 incarnation of bnbmc.
Route Description
Western
At its western terminus in Victor's Interesting City, the freeway ends at a simple T-intersection with The Road. Continuing east, the freeway traverses southern TAY, parallel to the newer The Great Tayway, connecting to Botanical Gardens Linda and Midcity. Although TAY is a left-side drive country, Freeway 20 continues to operate as a right-side drive road, requiring each interchange to have complex driving direction switches. Past Midcity, the freeway travels north briefly, forming the border between TAY and the Kemonomimi Republic.
Central
At a border control checkpoint, the freeway enters the Kemonomimi Republic and passes through rural western KR, connecting with a few local highways before traversing the Umi Ocean.
At Melanie City, the freeway provides access with many local roads. At the Gateway Interchange, the freeway becomes concurrent with Freeway 49 (OHN) and intersects with Freeway 10 (OHN). East of Downtown, it diverges from Freeway 49 (OHN) and continues to meet A3, where it continues into Whale City.
