bits & Bytes Minecraft 1.3 is the most recent and current iteration of bnbmc, it was started in October 2021 after the world being upgraded to a newer version of Minecraft (1.16.5), it was later upgraded to 1.18.2. It is the longest running bnbmc server. In July 2023, the server was limited to accounts linked to Discord with Veteran and Regular roles or a dedicated temporary role, this was to stop new people from joining the server due to them not interacting with the bits & Bytes Community. This iteration ended on November 23, 2023 in order to upgrade the world to 1.20 and add the bits & Bytes Vanilla 2 map.
