The Diana Hotel is a 16-room hotel managed by WOW Hotel. Located in Inkytown, it serves as a flagship building of Downtown Inkytown, and the balconies offer scenic views of the Infinity Game Center and Love Tower to the south and Inky Tower to the north.
Origin
The Diana Hotel was conceptualized and constructed in 2022 by Inkydink. It is named after Diana Adams, the mother of Philip Adams and star of the YouTube channel OSFirstTimer. The colors used throughout the building each represent an aspect of Diana's life: Purple represents Windows 8, which was the focus of the first video on the OSFirstTimer channel; Yellow symbolizes the United Australia Party, under which Diana ran for the Australian Senate in 2022; Blue pays homage to her car, which was featured in another video; and Pink and Green reflect her eccentric taste in color themes. The architecture was inspired by a housing project in the then-existing Soviet Confederation, in which Inkydink and achipder collaborated. However, significant changes to the color pallete and interior rooms were made.
Amenities
The Diana Hotel offers many amenties that are not offered elsewhere in bnbmc. The Inkytown pool is just across the street and accesible to all guests by crosswalk. Dining services, including room service, are offered. Television service is also offered; each room has a different video from OSFirstTimer displayed on the screen. The rooms themselves are divided into three separate areas: a combination kitchen and living area, a bedroom with 2 beds, and a bathroom. Every room features all of these amenities; the only difference between rooms is the color theme, which is different on every floor.
From late 2022 to mid 2023, a Glimpse was featured in the lobby of the Diana Hotel. The store remained empty and was eventually removed, as Victor Tran declined to finish the project.
