The Second Solstan Civil War is an ongoing conflict between the Solstice national government and the former provinces of Firefly, Dozhda, Sleebieville, and Purple, Inc., caused by the dissolution of the Solstice Federation into the People's Democratic Federal Republic of Solstice. The Freedom Alliance Party, in power beginning in April 2024, began to attempt to subvert the Third Federal Constitution of the Solstice Federation on 7 May 2024, eventually succeeding and transforming the government into a totalitarian regime. With this, four provinces of the Solstice Federation began to secede from the union, leaving only Bohemia and Othoroot in the union still. Solstice has since declared itself a unitary state under the People's Democratic Republic of Solstice, but allows Bohemia and Othoroot to act autonomously as Bohemia AR and Othoroot AR. The large unincorporated territory of Solstice is now the mainland of Solstice.
