Southeastern Islands
The Southeastern Islands, previously known as the ALI Regions, was a nation created in January 2019 and dissolved on October 8, 2023. It was comprised of areas such as Alee Isle, BreadCroust, SkyCity, Silicon Valley, Mojave Dessert, Nexus Underground, Longhorn Hills, Gura Villa, and Forêt Québec.
History
ALI Regions
The Alee Isle Regions (ALI Regions) were originally meant to be regions around Alee Isle. Silicon Valley was the first town to be a part of ALI Regions as it was established at the same time. Later on, SkyCity was created and joined soon after. BreadCroust later joined during a discussion when the head of BreadCroust declared their inclusion.
Southeastern Islands
Soon, the ALI Regions expanded to include not just regions, but cities around Alee Isle. The president of ALI Regions felt that the name should be changed to reflect this. After a meeting with the leaders of each region, they officially established "Southeastern Islands" as the new name.
Expansion
Southeastern Islands rapidly expanded their territories to compete with larger countries and become a major power. They established approximately five cities, each with its own distinctive theme.
Internal Struggles
Internal struggles soon arose as Southeastern Islands experienced limited progress due to inactivity. When the president of Southeastern Islands granted the region Mojave Dessert (now called Mojave) its fifth region, it experienced rapid growth that overwhelmed the government. The leader of Mojave Dessert expressed their desire for secession as their region grew rapidly. The Government of Southeastern Islands responded by implementing systems requiring approval from all regions at the time. However, this did not deter Mojave Dessert from considering secession, leading them to establish more independent systems within their region.
Secession
A few months passed, and the issue of secession in Mojave Dessert gained significant popularity among many people. Meanwhile, the leader of Alee Isle contemplated succession within its original regions, namely BreadCroust, SkyCity, and Silicon Valley. The aim was to detach from the intricate system established by the Southeastern Islands, where every law had to pass through each person representing the canton. However, in many cases, these representatives were unavailable due to inactivity.
Referendum
The referendum was created in order to solve these issues. All cantons had to vote on the referendum in order to solve these issues.
Plan 1: Mojave Dessert Secession
It has proven over time that Mojave Dessert has expanded beyond what SEI has done. They have established many of its own services, as well as hinted for a long time for a secession from SEI itself. Mojave Dessert’s leader Tomas, has made plans for a long time to secede from SEI itself.
Fiesta services will continue to be served across SEI.
Any Mojave Dessert services can also be served across the progressive SEI government and the founder cantons government as well.
Plan 2: Division of SEI
For a long time, the founder cantons (Alee Isle, BreadCroust, Silicon Valley, and SkyCity) have not progressed as much, while the newer cantons have done so. We may have to divide SEI to give newer cantons a leverage to progress faster and better.
The founder cantons will be formed into a new nation that goes into “regions”, and they will all have an equal say in decisions. They will not adopt the Standards Act or Constitution from progressive SEI.
The new progressive SEI (Forêt Québec, Longhorn Hills, and Nexus Underground) will have the same system, following Standards Act and Constitution. But it will be more progressive and many changes will happen overtime. They will have their own decisions not bound by the founder cantons.
Gura Villa will be turned into a “historic” city and the new progressive SEI government will own it until a new owner is appointed.
The capital of SEI will be moved from Alee Isle to Swamp Island (new name needed). As it will be the main capital for all things SEI related.
Plan 3: President Change
The current president of SEI has not been doing much change to SEI itself, even though a vice-president has been appointed, there has not been much overall progress in SEI itself.
Andrew will be planning on stepping down as president of SEI and becoming “Minister of Development” of SEI. Idk837384 has been elected to become the new president of SEI. Raina will remain vice-president of SEI.
Andrew will become “Premier” of Swamp Island. Andrew will be able to make new cantons, and oversee how SEI will become.
Both the “Minister of Development” and the President can appoint new leaders of new established cantons.
Minister of Development has the following roles:
- Able to form new cantons
- Build and maintain federal buildings
- Overturn certain decisions
- Can hold a vote to impeach the president
Plan 4: A “Union” for Highways, Free Travel and Telecommunication
If the following two plans are agreed upon, the highway will be headed by the new progressive SEI government, founder cantons government and Government of Mojave.
Free travel between these borders can be possible within these countries, elsewhere would have passport control if the government wants to.
Fiesta can still be served in all of these countries.
SEI Central Station will be renamed to reflect these changes.
The SEI Intercanton Highway will be transferred to this “Union” with the same leadership as before, but a new executive must be appointed for the new progressive SEI government.
More will be added to this “union”.
The Collapse
The referendum passed, marking a significant turning point in the history of the Southeastern Islands. Mojave Dessert, Alee Isle, BreadCroust, SkyCity, and Silicon Valley each successfully seceded from the Southeastern Islands. Under the leadership of Mojave, Mojave Dessert gained independence, while Alee Isle, BreadCroust, SkyCity, and Silicon Valley united to form a new country known as the Alure Regions. Idk837384 became president after Alee stepped down.
Following the secession, a significant event occurred when Forêt Québec faced a parasitic pandemic that spread to other nations, including Solstice and the Aura Regions.
Subsequently, activity dwindled, and a few months later, the leader of Ownage decided they wanted Longhorn Hills, a decision the president agreed to. Then the Minister of Development (Alee) proposed merging Nexus Underground and Gura Villa into the Alure Regions due to the cantons at the time being very close to the Alure Regions, as well as Alee Isle's massive expansion. A new referendum was held to solve these issues. Forêt Québec was planning on becoming independent, and Longhorn Hills was planning to be transferred to Ownage, but due to external conflicts, the idea of transferring Longhorn Hills was eventually shut down. After the referendum, the dissolution of the Southeastern Islands finally happened. Consequently, Forêt Québec, along with Longhorn Hills and the Unnamed Mountain Region, emerged as a new nation under the Republic of Québec. The dissolution of the Southeastern Islands was finalized on October 8, 2023.
Politics and government
The Southeastern Islands was a weak federal presidential republic as the government did not regulate much of the country.
Conflicts
- The former cantons of Alee Isle and current canton of Longhorn Hills had issues with the french people in Forêt Québec which led to an almost civil war.
- Mojave Dessert (now officially Mojave) was expressing their interest in suceeding, which was a success for Mojave.

Trivia
- Did you know that the Southeastern Islands isn't actually Southeastern nor Islands? This was actually because during its formation, the founders thought it was southeast from Whale City because it used to be the "centre" of the world.
- It used to be the biggest country in terms of population, being owned by other players with 9 settlements. Solstice has since taken over that spot.
