The aircraft failed to glide to safety and crashed into trees in South Midcity, causing 6 deaths.
On 15 January 2024, Squid Airlines Flight 9000, a Boing 737 enroute from Melanie City Southwest International Airport to Zalora Zenith Airport, encountered a rapid decompression, causing incapacitation of the pilot. The aircraft subsequently crashed into Szki Lanes, resulting in 2 deaths.
On 24 July 2024, Squid Airlines Flight 157, a Boing 737 enroute from Rogueport Royce Airport to Melanie City Southwest International Airport, experienced a controlled flight into terrain after having an incorrectly calibrated altimeter due to ATC giving an incorrect pressure measurement, resulting in 2 deaths.
